SANYU Adventures Ltd ("SANYU", "we", "our", "us") is a New Zealand registered luxury travel company, founder-led by Ritah Lillian Nabukalu. We design guided journeys across East Africa — Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania — for travellers based primarily in New Zealand, Australia and international markets.

We only collect the information we need to design and deliver your journey. This typically includes:

• Name, email address, phone number and country of departure.
• Enquiry details: destination interest, package or journey type, number of travellers, preferred dates and any personal notes you share.
• Booking information: passport details, dietary requirements, medical or accessibility needs, insurance details and next-of-kin contact.
• Payment records: transaction references and amounts. We do not store full credit card numbers on our systems.
• Basic technical information (device, browser, pages visited) collected when you use this website.

• To respond to your enquiry personally.
• To design, quote, book and deliver your journey.
• To coordinate with our trusted in-country partners (accommodation, guides, transport, permits).
• To keep you informed before, during and after your travel.
• To meet our legal, tax and safety obligations in New Zealand and in the countries we operate in.
• To send occasional stories and travel guides, only if you have opted in.

We share the minimum necessary information with the partners who deliver your journey — for example lodges, ground operators, guides, park authorities and permit offices. These partners are contractually required to protect your information and use it only to deliver your booking.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share your information for third-party marketing.

Because we operate journeys in East Africa, some of your information will be transferred to and stored by our partners in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania. We only share information that is necessary to deliver your booking and take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled with appropriate care.

Enquiries and booking records are stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Only Ritah and authorised SANYU team members have access. We keep booking records for as long as required by New Zealand tax and travel law, then securely delete them.

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold.

Our website uses a small number of functional cookies and basic analytics to understand how visitors find and use our journeys. We do not use invasive tracking or advertising cookies.
