Born and raised on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Brian's lifelong connection with Africa's wildlife has shaped him into one of Uganda's most respected professional safari guides.

Brian Batsurana, affectionately known as the Brian Safari Guide, is one of SANYU Adventures' trusted local specialists, bringing together professional guiding expertise, wildlife photography and an extraordinary lifelong connection with Uganda's natural heritage.

Growing up in Katwe, beside Queen Elizabeth National Park, Brian spent his childhood surrounded by elephants, hippos, buffalo, warthogs and an incredible diversity of birdlife. These experiences inspired a lifelong passion for conservation and a commitment to helping travellers experience Africa through knowledgeable, responsible and authentic guiding.

Today, Brian is recognised for his exceptional ability to interpret wildlife behaviour, identify birds, share fascinating stories and create unforgettable safari experiences that connect travellers with the landscapes, wildlife and cultures of East Africa.
